My goal in working with families is to facilitate a relationship where parent and child can
feel loved, understood, and appreciated. Often, parents and children are stuck in a
viscous cycle where the “problem” perpetuates itself. It is my objective, to help families
learn tools to get unstuck, solve the problem, and come out of this with an enhanced   relationship and deeper understanding of one another.

My approach to counseling is person-centered and collaborative. I have a natural   connection with kids and teens and have been told by adolescents that I “get” them. I
strive to make families feel accepted and supported, yet challenged to grow.
